alternate settings. We endeavor to modify
the curriculum as much as possible to meet each individual need,and seek to improve inappropriate behavior if present in an

Passageway School is a Special needs School located
in Newbury Park, California. Our primary goal is to assist students with low-incidence disabilities such as Autism and Aspergers
ACHIEVE. Often these Children have had great difficulty fitting into the mold in other structured environments. We try to
accomodate our structure to meet the individual. This is achieved through intense symbiotic interaction between the student,
parent, and School.

Staff Qualifications All Teaching Staff have completed all requirements for level 1 or 2 special education credential in mild/moderate and moderate/severe. Most possess
advanced degrees. Additionally, all staff are regularly inserviced, and offered additional Special Education Local Plan Area
(SELPA) training. All Teachers and most staff have training in areas which include Non - Violent Intervention Training (NCPI),
Autism specific training, Behavior Intervention case management (BICM) and one member also possess a credential in Pupil Counseling(PPS)
. We have a licensed speech and language pathologist.
